Prime Minister's Independence Day Speech is perhaps the most important speech of the year. It carries it with the import of history and the vision and aspirations of future. Delivered every year on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the Independence Day Speech is the occasion when the Prime Minister lays out the government's achievements till date and the and the programmes and policies for the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has however, for the first time, set the trend of directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens for formulating his Independence Day Speech. Like last year, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their views, their ideas, their suggestions, indeed their own vision.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallise your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

Govt.is much talking of digital India but officers holding degrees only in Mechanical ,Electrical, Civil, Electronics and Communications engineerings are handling much hyped digital India instead of officers with relevant degree of Information Technology.Even posts of Directors(Information Technology)in all Deptts/union Ministries are manned by officers holding degrees only in Mechanical Electrical Civil and E&C engineering as UPSC has no subject of Information Technology even in its single Exam

Public Libraries are our silent universities. Launch a national public library movement from Kashmir to Kanyakumari so that Gyan Ganga purifies and enriches our minds. Knowledge empowers and enables. Appeal to all countrymen to adopt at least one public library near their home and support it both materially and financially. Please donate your personal library collections to public libraries so that private knowledge becomes public. There should not be any school in India without a lib.

Happy Independence Day, PM Sir, In last 2 years we observed drastic reduction in corruption at top levels. Now time to eliminate it from middle/ lower level of society, where general public are facing it in day to day life. In online system also, intelligent babu's invent the many ways of getting service charges any how. Kindly start a nation wide helpline for reporting/ handing of such small corruptions, which is rooted in our daily life and involve Rs 100 to 10000 cost to citizens.

Sir, being a student from CBSE board i would personally request you, the Honorable Education Minister and Chairperson of NCERT for making it more detailed and up to mark for board and competitive exams, which is not available in current editions of any books. And the most important relating NCERT books are the new mistakes committed in every edition and not correcting the old mistakes.

In your last speech on independence day you have announced to abolish interviews for Group B & C Posts. A number of Non BJP State Governments have done away with the practices of interview for group B & C posts. But your BJP State of Haryana has not done that ?
