Prime Minister's Independence Day Speech is perhaps the most important speech of the year. It carries it with the import of history and the vision and aspirations of future. Delivered every year on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the Independence Day Speech is the occasion when the Prime Minister lays out the government's achievements till date and the and the programmes and policies for the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has however, for the first time, set the trend of directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens for formulating his Independence Day Speech. Like last year, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their views, their ideas, their suggestions, indeed their own vision.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallise your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

honorable prime minister, i am so fascinated by your honest effort in promoting greener energy in our country, will be a great idea if you could save all of us from a so called polluted environment by plethora of petrol & diesel vehicles that be replaced slowly by electric cars & two wheelers in phased manner, encouraging the market by announcing affordable subsidies to its consumers is one such a way. will also boost our foreign direct investment and generate employment in a bigger way.

Dear PM, I have a "radical suggestion" to make. Why can't Government offices adopt 6:30 hours per day/ 6 days a week/ 2 shifts per day workloads. Such that the work starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 10:00 PM. in 2 separate shifts with each shift getting a 20 minute lunch/dinner break and 2 5 minute tea breaks. This can be implemented in all the over-crowded departments and will reduce "Traffic in Streets" and increase employment. Can be implemented easily in Cities though tough in rural areas.

Dear PM, This Speech should be straight forward on the topic of Article 370. You should explain its background & focus on the point that it is in the temporary list of our Constitution. Now time has come to end the article 370 from the constitution. Its our national security. One nation - one Constitution. You should describe the benefits of ending article 370. There should be no politics in this issue. It should be the prime agenda of this independence day. You can do it. So do it. Jai Hind.

Sir , I want you to tell people that we live in a compitative world , and our main compitator is Bhutan . Bhutan has its 70% land covered with forest , it is not carbon neutral country but a CARBON NEGATIVE COUNTRY. We should learn from Bhutan and take this as a challenge .Sir you can encourage people to plant saplings in their surrounding and try to achieve WORLD RECORD FOR MOST PLANTATION, can also ask to click selfies with their saplings and trend it on social media . A GREEN REVOLUTION

The major problem in all the metros and the capital cities is most haphazerd and uncontrolled traffic creating traffic congetion and frequent accidents. The police force presently deployed to manage traffic is never adequate because they are primarily deployed in managing law and order as well as personal security and important people. Since we are entering into a phase of creation of high tech cities we need highly trained and dedicated traffic police to keep these running smoothly. A separat
