Prime Minister's Independence Day Speech is perhaps the most important speech of the year. It carries it with the import of history and the vision and aspirations of future. Delivered every year on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the Independence Day Speech is the occasion when the Prime Minister lays out the government's achievements till date and the and the programmes and policies for the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has however, for the first time, set the trend of directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens for formulating his Independence Day Speech. Like last year, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their views, their ideas, their suggestions, indeed their own vision.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallise your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

Respected Sir Pl. appeal to the people of Nation to save food grain for those who r not getting even a single meal. One can reduce one chapati in his diet or have a fast once in week. I have reduced one chapati, we can save Crores of Chapatis in single day similarly use pulses with care if each family reduces its consumption by 50 / 100 gm daily, we will be in a position to coop with less production, which will reduce import of pulses and save foreign exchange Sanjeev Mahajan Shimla

Respected sir, Please draw attention towards youth development in terms of building up their character morally as it's the need of the hour. ..as they are the future. ..They should at least not be misguided by the people and powers who want to use youth of India for dirty politics and against the welfare and peace of our country.

Why this type of mentally over there.why men can't change their mentally. There must rules n regulations for mens also.why only for women? It is not equality. Women are the most important part of our life n society. They are God gift. Don't feel them shy. Suggest our men dominated society to respect the women

Sir, Independence day is the day to consider both of past and an vision for further development, and here I would it mark that "Agriculture is the back bone of INDIA" and we need to have more concern over it.

Monsoon season is on full flow, India is blessed with good rain To increase awareness for greenery I suggested Udaipur Municipal corporation to launch a scheme on 15 august EK JEEVAN, EK VRIKSH / ONE LIFE, ONE TREE to make compulsory to plant a tree on Birth of a child or death of relative on issuing Birth / Death certificate. Administration should motivate citizens to plant trees on Birthdays / Anniversary / other memorable moments Plant and tree guard will be given by Municipal corporation
