Prime Minister's Independence Day Speech is perhaps the most important speech of the year. It carries it with the import of history and the vision and aspirations of future. Delivered every year on 15th August, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, the Independence Day Speech is the occasion when the Prime Minister lays out the government's achievements till date and the and the programmes and policies for the future.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has however, for the first time, set the trend of directly seeking ideas and suggestions from citizens for formulating his Independence Day Speech. Like last year, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their views, their ideas, their suggestions, indeed their own vision.

So now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallise your vision. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will articulate them.

Respected PM Sir! I think you should speak on the wastage of food which occurs in restaurant,hotel etc. In the country.It's ok that people pay for that whatever they order but as i realized that many times they order more than they can eat.In my view no one should have the right to westage of food because there is a huge crowd outside not getting the minimum amount of food.please make a hard rule to prevent this as in foreign due to this we will be able to use resources much more.thank you sir

jaise china me population ko control me kiya hai, or aj china kya hai sb jante hai, hme bhi waise hi pehle population ko control me lana hoga, HUM EK HMARE EK law pass krke hum bhi population ko control me kr skte hai.

Dear Sir, There are big difference in salary between private and public sector competencies, public sector employee gets attraction benefits also other than salary but private sector employee not, Public sector employee demands his salary increments and some cases they have followed strikes also, but private sector not, though tax calculation system is equal for both. So please implement some beneficial plan for private employees... Thanking You, Umesh Gupta

On Independence day, we all should take Oath for Non-Corruption in India. As Citizens we take role for reduction and prevention of Corruptions whenever arises by informing to nearest police station and All India Toll free No. With this Initiative, we can fulfill dreams of Mahatma Gandhi for Corruption Free India. This will boost Economic Growth of INDIA and Living Standards of Individuals.

A lot has been said about many social and economic issues. However, in the process, science and technology gets sidelined from the limelight. Science and Technology has the potential to transform both the social and economic spheres to no extent. Interest as well as knowledge in this respect has been absent within the general discourse in the country. Innovation should be encouraged. Young scientists should be allowed to follow their passion. But it's the exact opposite that happens in India.

Hello Sir, A big thanks to you for placing us so well on the global front. What I feel is our govt have fantastic policy but there have to be a check to ensure that its been implemented properly, to be honest we do have govt agencies to monitor but lets accept, its not working. Why don't you select people from corporate world to come forward , I don't have an exact draft for my idea but I think you can surely make out a effective plan. Happy Independence Month to all of us. Honourable Prime Minister Sir, The Digital India program has started and implementation phase. But it will truly reach to every Indian family/ Citizen. Mobile application of Government service will be only accessible, when a smart device will be held by citizen.So the availability of smart phone should be ensure by following simple ways: 1) Link Aadhar no. with mobile SIM no.That population have accessibility. 2) Rest doesn`t have smart device, Please provide them smart device in 15 Aug.

Recent months have shown that in a parliamentary democracy, an important bill can be passed by close to consensus. I urge that you adapt a similar policy to get an agreement amongst the people's representatives to link up the rivers of India. This will help the country multi fold : Eliminate drought Eliminate water disputes Encourage inland trade and bring down transportation cost and thus cost of goods.
