Aspect: Education

• Implementation of e-pathasala including digital podium, interactive pad, interactive board, interactive projector, visualiser, information kiosk, touch LED
• Up gradation of school infrastructure like fans, LED lights, chairs, toilets, etc.
• KMC with the support of Agastya International Foundation is proposed to develop science centre and mobile science lab.

Aspect: Health

• Up gradation and improvement of Government General Hospital
• Up gradation of existing E.S.I Hospital
• Develop walking tracks and promote health habits

Aspect: Public Open Spaces

• Target to increase in green coverage by 15% by improve the greenery in Gandhinagar Park & Raja Tank and by developing colony parks & neighborhood parks
• Geo-tagging of all the trees in the area to check the unauthorized cutting of trees and improve the greenery

Aspect: Housing & Inclusiveness

• KMC is preparing a comprehensive report to make Kakinada a slum free city.
• Improve the Identified 10 No. slums in the area under housing for all scheme.

Aspect: Transport and Walkablity

• Developments of Footpaths and Cycle Tracks – about 25km length of footpaths and cycle tracks have to be developed along the roads
• Implementation of paid smart parking on main road, cinema road, temple street, around raja tank and other roads

Aspect: IT Connectivity

• 100% WiFi connectivity

Aspect: Energy Supply

• Uninterrupted power with zero outages

Aspect: Energy Source

• Convert all street lights into Solar LED
• Implement the roof top solar projects for all government and public buildings (around 5.2 lakhs ft roof top area)

Aspect: Water Supply

• All households with service connection and 24 x 7 water supply
• Install smart water meters

Aspect: Water Management

• Promote rainwater harvesting / ground water recharge.

Aspect: Sanitation and Waste Water Management

• 100% household and community toilets
• 100% sewer connections (19,451 Connections)
• 100% area covered with sewerage (850 acres)
• Develop decentralized sewage treatment plants (More than 1)
• Open Defecation free area

Aspect: Energy Efficiency

• All households lighting to be converted to LED with assistance of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)

Aspect: Underground Electric Wiring

• 100% underground electric wiring of 850 acres duly proposing under Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS)

Aspect: Waste Management

• 100% D2D Collection
• Recycling of Dry Waste and Explore the Plastic to Fuel technology
• Decentralized wet waste to compost / bio-methanation plants
• Monitoring and supervision of services by implementing Information Communication Technology initiatives

Aspect: Safety & Security

• Installation of CCTV at junctions and all locations including apartments, commercial buildings, public places, institutional buildings, government buildings, railway stations, bus complex, etc.
• Improvement of traffic junctions and road markings
