In order to design an interoperable ecosystem of data, applications and processes, there is a need to formulate a policy for the Government Organizations to provide Open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The “Policy on Open APIs for Government of India” has been drafted to encourage formal use of Open APIs in Government Organizations. This policy sets out the Government’s approach on the use of “Open APIs” to promote software interoperability for all e-Governance applications & systems and provide access to data & services for promoting participation of citizens and other stakeholders.

You are requested to provide your inputs on the policy and suggest implementation approach across the government.

Sir with all due respect I think we need to upgrade our postal system....there is no definite time frame of delivery of mail. Government Postal System should become the first priority of the people but courier services have taken its place because people like to trust courier services more than our Postal system. I believe we are losing a lot of revenue because of the notion that India Post should be their last resort. I think we need to rebuild the confidence of people on our postal services.

if the government announce only half tax for black money, then the swiss bank account holders will deposite the money in India and govt gets the cash for activities

I have a suggestion on eliminating corruption, and unaccountable money. Sir if we completely avoid bank currency notes, coins and create e money through mobiles we could avoid people cheating tax. tax can be directly debited from the account. corruption can be avoided. and corruption can be completely avoided. even the blind recognize bank notes similarly when it becomes a necessity even the blind can find his account balance by dailing the mobile. Arrange for computer literacy program in villages across the country. This should be done for the children who have passed the primary school education. Encourage them to in turn educate their parents many of whom may be illiterate.

The government should look at the various processes in place at the rto which are in the areas of vehicle registration and vehicle registration transfer. Unnecessary processes and paper work is required when the government can automate the processes and have open apis between their various systems of the government eg rc systems and ncrb interface. Automated data transfer between rto systems within the state and outside the state. Willing to contribute to this effort if government so desires
