and install the ATM machines instead than hiring a space from private parties. This would ensure that the hire charges are flowing back to the postal department for the development and enabling to serve better.

One such is that Sir, all the Post office- saving schemes holders can be provided with the Post office-Money Card similar to an ATM card to access. Further, in order to access the same and to make the postal Department self sufficient, most of the post offices are having sufficient space which is either un - utilized or underutilized. Here, nationalized and private banks can utilize the space for the installation of ATM machines by signing an MOU between the banks and the Postal department,

Dear Sir,I would like to share about an article on randomized control trials that I read recently in The Economist. The process includes selecting a group at random and subjecting them to a treatment to evaluate the benefit of the treatment. This is popular across the rich world and parts of the emerging world.I think the concept should be applied in India for the evaluating policies/schemes.Historically implementation is a challenge in India.I think this will help us overcome the challenge.

Sir, SBI is charging Inter City Charges for cash deposit. It is secretly debited from the account of the receiver. This is an unfair trade practice. IT facilities have eased the work load of staff considerably, so there is no need of this charge at all. If at all it is necessary it should be collected while depositing the cash from the sender, as it is done while making Demand Draft. The receiver should not suffer loss. This complaint was submitted to SBI in Sep 2008 but no action taken.
