Discussion in Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Haldia Municipality is organizing a Discussion Forum where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through Comment for discussion. Citizens may post their Smart Solutions, Addition and Alteration on Draft Proposal. Please participate in discussion online by login to MyGov.

Development of Smart city Haldia should be inclusive and it must take all section of society in the fold. Up liftmen of the poorest of poor of the society should be objective of the building a futuristic smart city.

Urban Transport system of Haldia should be devise and introduce mobility solutions in terms of routes, modes, means and networks, which would be efficient, less energy consuming and sustainable. I suggest we should start night bus services for the industrial worker because they could not find any bus after 8:00Pm in the city.

All health care establishment clinics, private nursing home, blood banks, diagnostic centers and Medicine stores of Haldia should be under one roof for the unified health care system.

Realizing Haldia being a growth engine for a region, development of skills and technologies and opportunities in consolidating a sustainable and manageable employment and economic reform, including the education, health and tourism industry. Could Smart City Haldia bring this opportunity?
