Discussion in Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Haldia Municipality is organizing a Discussion Forum where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through Comment for discussion. Citizens may post their Smart Solutions, Addition and Alteration on Draft Proposal. Please participate in discussion online by login to MyGov.

Haldia - Smart City of the people, for the people and by the people is the objective that should be accomplished through this mission of Smart City.

Urban Transport system of Haldia should be devise and introduce mobility solutions in terms of routes, modes, means and networks, which would be efficient, less energy consuming and sustainable. I suggest we should start night bus services for the industrial worker because they could not find any bus after 8:00Pm in the city.

Haldia at present is miserable for the public transport system. Haldia Smart City should introduce mobility solutions in terms of routes, modes, means and networks which would be efficient less energy consuming and sustainable. Introduce more road networks like Manjusree to Sutahata double lane with high drain, City center to Manjushree (HPL Link road).

Haldia Smart City – A City to provide Simple, Clean, Safe and Healthy Eco-friendly Environment based upon Smart Technologies to its citizen this should be inducted in our stream for realization. If we realize then only can make a dream true.

Haldia lacks disaster management response facility. Disaster management and risk mitigation plan must be built in in the smart city.
