Haldia is a pollution prone city due to existence of a number of chemical Industries. So priority be given on disaster management so that no Bhopal incident occur at Haldia.

Haldia at present is miserable for the public transport system. Haldia Smart City should introduce mobility solutions in terms of routes, modes, means and networks which would be efficient less energy consuming and sustainable. Introduce more road networks like Manjusree to Sutahata double lane with high drain, City center to Manjushree (HPL Link road).

Nayachar island can be developed for Eco tourism with a pollution free environment using battery operated transportation. Marine aquarium may be developed at Nayachar.
