Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

Once the user has been directed live while using the digital locker website, he will surely not face any problem next time and will even encourage and train others to use the website optimally. There can be small and simple training module videos for various tasks on the website, if these 'live directions' are too complex to be implemented.

The process of getting a document uploaded and e-signed is surely a fairly complex one for the common user. Even though we have a manual in place, it does not cover all aspects like getting the doc e-signed. I suggest a way of 'prompting' and 'directing' the first time user by website, like many apps today do it. It will be like someone telling them, while they are on the website, what is the next step to be done. Highlighting the button to be clicked, prompting with text message near a field.

everybody doesn't possesses aadhar card as of now. So the there should be some alternate ID for registering in Digital Locker

Those who desire to use digital locker should apply by specifically mentioning detailed list of certificates and documents to check the fairness of the public.

For digital locker Bbasic identity should be assessed with AADHAR CARD NUMBER along with either Ration Card, Driving License, Passport etc. or residence proof with specific landline number and/or mobile number. Certificates for storage related to personal qualification, experience certificate, mark sheets, Awards and Achievements, PAN NUMBER. Provision for Government related registration documents for Private and Public Sectors may be facilitated for digital locker for occasional submission

HELLO SIR, sabse pahle students ko card issue kiya jaye jisme wska aadhar card no votar id no and digital locker kabar code hoya particlar ek no ho jise dalte he student ki sari information uska aadhar card wske document uwska votarid sab aajye....jise ye fayda hoga student ko kewal ek hi card rkhna padega....... abhi system ye he kahi par aadhar card mangte he kahi par votar id kahi par licence. sir ye seva pahle student se start karo..sir really ye bhut faydeman hoga..

Sir in Telangana State we are trying to Sign up for Digital Locker but after entering our Aadhar Numbers its was showing that your Mobile number is not updated so please contact your nearby Aadhar Center for Update. How can a state Mobile Data Misses so kindly please give us a simply updating process to Digital Locker and Aadhar Update Status...

For any alteration in the stored document, there should be atleast 3 layer security. FOR BACKUP, everything should not depend on adhaar only. In absence of adhaar, there should be option for using a combination of other IDs in order to access the account.

Dear team this ASHOK ULLI from andhra pradesh and I used to tried to login digital locker by using AADHAR deatails. It has shown my mobile number and email id not updated but I already updated both mobile number and email id. Kindly help me to sign up for digital locker....
