Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

1: The access method should be a swiping card or logon over web 2: Swipe and login to decrypt a key from the card which can be used to retrieve data from the digital locker 3: Dynamic password should be used for security 4: A special swiping machine is required 5: Every activity be logged 6: Should accessible from any country 7: Digital locker app should be available for phones for conformation 8: Along swiping, thumb impressing should be included on swiping machine

This is a good initiative but "AADHAR CARDS" many peoples have their AADHAR CARDS which don't have their Mobile Numbers registered also the don't have their email id's registered so how would those people use these digital india services,and also there is no easy provision so that people add their mobile numbers or update the numbers online rather there is a process of downloading form and posting which most people dont like to do so there must be provision to add mobile no or update it online

we hav been living in digital age.our dreams and aspirations are becoming globalized and villages are being connected through digitized network.i think in future everything is available in a single e biocapturing at everyones house.so we hav to concentrate to provide all those services through secured ones.for that we need to make govt websites more secure and more transferent.in every house people can use net banking ,teleservices at their convenience more securely

डिजीटल लॉकर सुविधा युवा पीढ़ी के लिए बहुत ही लाभकारी है, क्योंकि फिजीकली डॉक्यूमेंट मैंटेन करना बहुत ही मुश्किल होता है, तथा सबसे ज्यादा मुश्किल तो उन्हें संभालने में होती है। मेरा सुझाव है कि इस योजना को रोजगार कार्यालय से भी जोड़ा जाना चाहिए ताकि बेरोजगार युवाओं का पंजीयन के साथ ही डॉटा अपडेट हो सके जिससे सरकारी नौकरी के अवसरों में उनका बेहतर तालमेल के साथ उपयोग हो सके...।

1)A digital card, like an ATM card, should be issued,with a username and password,which will consist of all the documents required at government sectors and would be swiped as done in card shopping. 2)From now on any governmental documents' soft copy should be directly uploaded by the concerned department in our DIGITAL LOCKER. 3) DIGITAL CARD should have the facility of storing a limited but sufficient amount of money say (5000rs) so that service charges for govt purposes can be paid via it

There are many aspects that we need to think before implementing and executing such a huge project. Digital Locker must be secure and should be architectured in a way that it can support the huge scale of documents it needs to handle. Since, all the personal documents will be digitized, we should think of a way to easily change personal information in all those documents at once. Like, change of address. We can also think of having an e-profile for all the citizens of India. Excited!

I think the email id which government is linking with aadhar should be provided by government itself. Government can provide an email id like abcxxx123@nic.in to every aadhar no and that email can only be used in government channels means mails can be sent to and received from only government servers this will ensure all our government related mails,password,digital locker documents will be on indian servers and in case of hack email password can be changed from aadhar felicitation centre only.

First of all I would like to congratulate Sh. Narendra Modi for his long term Vision of Digital India. I would like to contribute some points such as - 1. We need to approach Education boards who will start Using Digital lockers for providing E-Mark sheets of students. 2. Secondly need to ask corporates and various government offices to ask Aadhar Number for sharing documents for Jobs.

Digital locker system is very nice idea but for security I suggests encrypt and decrypt system use in this only password to decrypt the data and the password was not one type password but it change every login time.

Please take a two numbers for OTP.First is UIDAI Register no and second is recovery no.if the main number is lost the recovery no is usefull to user to sign in account
