Help us make Digital Locker better by providing your valuable feedback, comments and suggestions.

Digital Locker is a key initiative under Digital India program. It is an online application that aims at eliminating the use of physical documents and enables sharing of verified electronic documents across various agencies. Digital Locker provides a dedicated personal storage space in the cloud to citizens, linked to citizen’s Aadhaar number. It will enable various organizations registered on Digital Locker to push certificates of citizens directly in their Digital Locker in electronic format. Citizens can also upload and securely store the scanned copies of legacy documents in Digital Locker. These legacy documents can be electronically signed using eSign facility. A citizen can share these electronic certificates online with various departments and agencies registered on Digital Locker while applying for the services provided by them. Thus, Digital Locker brings the citizens, issuers and requestors on one platform and reduces administrative overhead of agencies by eliminating paperwork. It will also make it easy for the residents to receive services by saving time and effort.

the main hassle is when we need to use these documents for official bases , either its for visa for foreign education or job in .we have to show our documents is original. so what we can do is we can link those documents with all the universities/companies/police station in india so on request from any of the department anyone can access to it on a portal bases which will save ample amount of time and duplicate. no one need to go anywhere it will be done under one roof only .just one portal.

I request pm narendra modi ji to discuss abt smart traffic contro I'm ready to meet for the discussion i need just a chance to prove thats all i too want my india to be smarter than others not me every one want this we will select everyone from each state city village a ppl will not waste our time to explain will directly apply the rules we will introduce id card barthiya card for working ppl with government...now just waiting for pm's green singnal

I just tried to register for DIGI Locker, unfortunately, it is saying "Please enter a valid 12 digit aadhar number". I don't know what went wrong. But I am providing my AADHAR number correct.

This very serious to dicuss abt traffic control in india our PM is trying to clean india den we youth sud take steps to bring out new smart traffic systems it will take time but we are not single PM will nominate smart ppl for smart Trafic control for digital india we must start following smart city Traffic control #Digitalindia#narendarmodi#primeminister#

I visited the local akshaya Kendra to understand their initiative in spreading the new digital locker scheme. There was hardly any poster or pamphlet on digital locker facility. Common people will not get to know about this scheme unless they read it in the paper or TV. Awareness campaigns must be notched up to reach the panchayat level.

It should not have facebook and google login on digital locker. It can be a security leak as all documents will be accessible to facebook and google.

First of all give a right platform to this app app like this just like a huge opportunity for all of us. Lonch this app as soon as possiable on Google play store and apple store

1. More Promotion is required. The message is not spread accross. 2. Increase the file size for each certificate. Present limit is 1 MB. There are files sometimes bigger than this. Have an overall cap. 3. Start usage of this facility in real life. Once the usage starts, its value can be understood.
