India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

National Medicos Organisation Should go for implementation of Generic Medicine ../ Jan Aushadhi Stores in whole Bharat....at least in the campus of Govt. Hospitals all over the Bharat .......To Save the innocent people , their families from excessive medicine expenditure .......Bharat Mata Ki Jai

We the doctors (contractual - getting Rs 15000 salary per month with no other benefits like NPA etc) are the backbone of the Programs like RBSK etc. We are never being taken into consideration while planning policies about NRHM program. The officers (mostly corrupt and with outdated knowledge) make the policies on which we have to work on ground @ root level. How can government expect the doctors to work 24 hrs for needy people with such detrimental conditions and inadequate resources

Creation of new toilets across the country is a brilliant idea, but current situation also requires maintenance of the toilets at all the public places (Highway bus stops, Railway stations, malls and shopping zones etc.). Local management be made aware to it and they should be asked to impose minor fine if the facilities are being misused.

Invented a new economy system with the existing infrastructure of our country,the system connecting the 120cr population in 120 days for a cause not just to open an account The system remoulding our economy and administration of our country,the system abolish corruption and will come back any black money from out side but no harm to the money saver,the new system shows how can we create our own economy,how can we do development without any foreign aid,how can we support the international bodies

RASHTRIYA BAL SWASTHYA KARYAKRAM is the best initiative of NRHM. Though the program is very good it's implementation needs to be supported with proper human resource management and technology inputs like GPRS spotting of Doctors, online reporting, easy to use mobile applications etc. I am working as medical officer since last 7 years in the same program and have taken initiatives like forming FB pages whatsapp groups etc. But it needs to be author and supported by government agencies.
