India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

Dear Sir I have been into healthcare sector for around 10yrs , worked into hospital & now working with companies . I have observed that govt. is buying Medical equipments by spending huge budgets on them but those have not been used at all or not upto their full specifications , i would suggest for some certifications for users by conducting trainings by company & those certificates needs to renew after specific interval .this helps to keep update to users & max use to the equip. can be don

I suggestion . grampanchayat system need extension. Along with village head other ppl should be elected . Decentralise the power of vill of head othe sec like for cultural activities health finance must be appointed in villaes

In rural area ppl still havefaith in customs and jhaad phoonk Neonatal and pediatric facilities are insufficient to overcome thir demands. health counselling center must be installed in gram panchayat.

If I can do .other can also do . also request to revise right to health policy. there are certain things should be taken into consideration. Reinforcement of population to accept the medical care . Delivery of prophylactic drugs to population to prevention of certain disease . Like my village I have noticed 17 death due to cancer in a specific belt of community . I told them to go for screening of disease . But poor people due to lack of knowledge and money they are dying .

Goverment is facing two main problems foreign exchange deficit and black money in foreign. My idea can fight with both. I am a CA doing gem stone, jewellery business. Due to excessive import of Gold in country the balance of payment is in deficit. If government allow certain quantity of gold with the baggage at the rate of say 20/25% customs duty with no question asked for its source of fund (can be added to capital and transferable too). The gold import will be done by money lying out of india.
