India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

Early deduction of cancer is a important and immediate task. If cancer is deducted at early stages, survival rate is high. A new technology to reach deep seated suspicious tissues for performing biopsy, is now available. Esteemed institutions like CMC vellore, Rajiv Gandhi cancer centre certified its use.we would like to partner with government to take initiative on deducting cancer at early stages. Any one can help us for the same? B.Rajavel - NeoRad -9442851148

Dear Primeminister, I wrote an email a few days before regarding the horrible medical facility in Odisha. Till date, I have not received any response. Once again, may I request for your kind interference to sort out the issue. Else, I am proposing the following for an immediate solution within the available resources. Kindly instruct to make the system online for everything starting from registration, doctor's appointment, pathological test till the final discharge. Please look into it.

hello sir, i just want to draw your attention towards my prespective.I will go straight to my points. In schools we all have subjects like maths, sci, hin, eng, sans, social studies, etc. Students do not show much interest in these subjects due to lack of something which is really important and that is ' psychology' .there are students of all descriptions in schools. Some of the students lack in confidence and self esteem .So i want you to kindly include 'psychology' as a subject in the syllabus.
