India has an estimated 20.9 lakh people living with HIV. However, nearly 30 -35 percent of these do not know there HIV status. After a person gets infected with HIV, there is a long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years when infected person may not have any symptoms till his immunity goes down significantly and he start getting different opportunistic infection like TB, diarrhoea, fungal infection etc. Hence most of the HIV infected persons present to health system in late stage when immunity is very low and their response to treatment may not be optimal. Also during this long asymptomatic period of 5-8 years, though they are infected but may not be aware of HIV status and are capable of spreading the infection their spouse or others if they continue to indulge unprotected sex.

Early detection of PLHIV is beneficial for patient himself as he can receive timely appropriate treatment including ART as well as for the community to stop further transmission of HIV.

We invite suggestion from community/ NGO/ CBO/ Civil society and public at large their views/ ideas on How to facilitate early detection of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and put them on ART as soon as possible.

majority of gov hospitals are having lack of machines or non functioning mac. so gov should go for annual maintenance contract of all the machines at the time of purchase , will save again from corruption & prevent from malpractices of gov staff.

gov. should recognize co. manufacturing good quality drugs & these co. should be negotiated for minimum cost supply which can go down up to 50% & will bypass corruption so also prevent episodes like bilaspur. there are many pharmaceutical bulk manufacturer co. india suppling most of the marketing co. on very low cost even to MNC so why not to GOV

Modi ji Aap australia aaye aur aapne kaha ki aap kanoon ko khatam karne lage ho. Modi ji meri ek request hai ki kuch kanoono ko change karne ki jaroorat hai. Pehla : agar koi company nakli medicine banaati hai usske owners pe 1 st degree murder ka mukadma chalega. Doosra: agar koi bina licence ke car ya scooter chaalata hai to owner ko 10,000 rs fine milega. Another suggestion Please humaare police waalo ko voice recorder aur walkie talkie dijeye aur they have to be on all time

For most citizens living in rural areas and even the ones living in urban areas who come under the social economic classification of "lower middle class," the concept of health checkups on an annual basis is an alien one. For one they are not aware of it and plus the cost is usually prohibitive. This can be resolved by making it mandatory for doctors to devote some time on a pro bono basis for the same. Location, and execution can be handled at the local administration level.

There are basic tests that are done new born babies in many countries. These tests help to identify any abnormalities in babies and it can be easily cure at this stage. This ensures that baby lives normal life and free of any birth defect. These tests should be made compulsory on each and every baby born in hospital. These tests do not cost much but when defects/disease are identify at later stage in life, it cost a lot and a baby cannot live a healthy life.

On the Elevated Highway between Silk Board and Electronic City in Bangalore, provide an down-slope exit at T Begur Junction. Vehicles can avoid the signal at T Begur and proceed on the highway below.
