Start with the basics. Design an impactful training programme that trains them how to generate a strong password. Also teach them the know-how of the basics of browser security: managing/blocking/deleting cookies, browser history, Do Not Track, etc.

Keep track of the data usage vs the information perceived. Embibe children with moral, social ideas to prevent off tracks. Financial and banking websites can be provided with additional verification passwords to prevent child pranks. Advice children not to click on advertisements which may appear on webpages as most of them can track the computer user's information. Prevent malware files and softwares getting downloaded without proper knowledge of the required genuine publisher.

Internet is not a place to live but it is a means to get better living; & every person should obey it.First of all we should present better perspective of this huge world wide web to children. Instead of warning children before giving them your computer or any web connected device you should tell them bright side of it like how you things can be Known, learned, practiced, & produced besides entertainment and connectivity it offers.
