Indian businessmen always like to take the funding of public sector banks to take risk and when cannot pay enjoy life. This is because they know that government in India make policy which kill industry to get political benefit. The businessmen also steal from minority investors. That is why India is such a filthy and poor country.
For.ex. Sugar sector, Power sector, Public sector banks because of government policy are suffering but the promoters (including government) are enjoying life.

We need to improve the penetration. Start online sales. Tie up with online retail stores like amazon, flipcart. Secondly, to empower them, give these products some reduction in tax.

1. Technological upgradation on easy terms - hassle free soft loans, capital subsidy - direct transfer
2. For effective marketing, consumer connect with successful evolution of traditional handlooms skills is a must. For emotional and ethical connect 'supporting the community' appeal will further enhance the brand appeal
3. Tie ups with Retail chains like Big bazaar and online retailers like Amazon etc.
4. Inviting NRIs for distribution in other countries
5. Buy Indian-Be Indian

powerlooms too & then these can't compete wrt. quality/ cost. Quality of products is another criteria which should be given due consideration in promotion of these handloom products. Training of workforce can play a significant role in this.
