India is the World’s second largest producer of Fruits & Vegetables. However, the processing of perishable products in our country is very low, in comparison to the developed countries or developing countries like China, Brazil, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. One of the main constraints in the growth of processing of fruits & vegetables in the country is non-availability of modern and suitable infrastructure with efficient supply Chain. Consequently, there is very high level of wastage of the fruits & vegetables in the country resulting in the farmer not getting adequate remuneration for his yield. A study conducted by Central Institute of Post Harvesting Engineering Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana, an ICAR institute, reveals that wastage in various agricultural crops in the country range from 6-18% and the highest loss has been shown in fruits and vegetables.

Ministry of Food processing Industries invites views/ suggestions for reduction of these losses.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 1st February 2015.

Hello sir Indian postal service ek bahut hi vyapak sanstha hai. Par rural area aur small town-city mein kabhi kabhi pareshani hoti hai. Ek request aur suggestion hai ki kai baar aisa hota hai ki post ki gayee vastu ya letter kisi karanvash deliver hi nahi hota. Galat address ya phir koi prashasnik chuk ki vajah se wo post delivered nahi hota. To kya aap aisi vyavastha kar sakate hain ki iss undelivered and unclaimed postal material ki jankari online mile. Iss tarah agar koi important letter ho to vah vyakti vyaktigatrup se post office mein jakar apni pehachan batakar vah letter ya parcel hasil kar sake. Thank you.

Some people have money by which they can buy everything like food, treatment, education, luxury and also people. At other hand some are lacking all of this due to absence of money. Now both are citizen of democracy. How can they live together peacefully. All the problems are due to two reasons. First, wanting more than actual requirements and second lacking of fulfill actual requirements. There should be balance and minimum differences.....

Awareness and law should be implemented and established together. Awareness gives free hand living according to knowledge where as law restrict people from wrongdoing. For best result it is necessary to run awareness and law together. It is not ignorance but selfishness and unlimited ambition drawing towards wrongdoing and disbalance. Disbalance left some undeveloped by knowledge and living. For balance life it is very essential to bring a law which can provide equal opportunity to all...

All the population of India should be divided in a ideal family of six. Husband-wife, father-mother and two children. This family should have a source of income to bear the cost of living, supporting elders and ensuring future of childrens.This family don't need any car,bike is sufficient. If this family progress with others then they can go for car. First minimum requirements of all citizen must be ensured then they should allowed for race. Full of begger country can't proud for his pizzas.. ..

Capacity and opportunity shouldn't be a free hand equipment for violating others right. One holding plane and other deprive of even a bicycle,One has capacity of procuring property at moon and other sleeping at railway station,Some are crorepati and most are roadpati, Some family have all father, mother, wife, brother and sister are holding jobs, and other hand some are struggling for their daily bread. This is not democracy. It shouldn't be a large and great Democracy......

Dear NaMo, I'd like to congratulate you for your tremendous foreign policy which is making world look at us with a great deal of respect n awe. You know politics is all about perception. Some of d recent moves by d Govt have d potential to impact it. For example, CBI director's issue. When he's being appointed d BJP opposed him vehemently but why yiy haven't sacked him despite SC rap n dairygate? It saddens me when people talk ill of you. Every initiative will be zero till we fail to maintain and establish value of democracy.till the date there is inequalities on income and opportunities there will be crime and corruption. That is not development where all if a family are govt job holder and earning more than what they require. And other side there is a family where non of member hold any permanent job. They are struggling for their daily meal. That is not a Democracy principle.

मोदी जी वस्न्द्र जी और गोपाल जोसी जी तो राजस्थान से गायब हो गये है न्यू त्र्र्फिक लाएट तो लग गए है लेकेन चलती नही है और न दस्त्बीनहा है कचरा पड़ा है जो गो माँ खाती है पास ही भवन है जो कचरा होता है उसे वो सडक पर दाल ते है और डस्टबिन ना होने के कारन गंडकी होती है

1) crop planing organisation must establish from village to central that means just like other institutions, it has to be managed by government. 2) proper value added production centers must create by government. 3) proper export organisation must establish by government for agri products ( special organisation). 4) district level cold storage should compulsory for agri products by government 5) mechanised system must adopt in post harvest of fruits and vegetables.

establish food storage units for every 5 mandals depending upon the area and availability of vegetables .From that storage supply the vegetables to the near by villages or towns or cities so that wastage can be reduced.operate these units in effective way.this aslo helps to decrease prices and benifits the farmer
