India is the World’s second largest producer of Fruits & Vegetables. However, the processing of perishable products in our country is very low, in comparison to the developed countries or developing countries like China, Brazil, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. One of the main constraints in the growth of processing of fruits & vegetables in the country is non-availability of modern and suitable infrastructure with efficient supply Chain. Consequently, there is very high level of wastage of the fruits & vegetables in the country resulting in the farmer not getting adequate remuneration for his yield. A study conducted by Central Institute of Post Harvesting Engineering Technology (CIPHET), Ludhiana, an ICAR institute, reveals that wastage in various agricultural crops in the country range from 6-18% and the highest loss has been shown in fruits and vegetables.

Ministry of Food processing Industries invites views/ suggestions for reduction of these losses.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 1st February 2015.

Dear PM Sir In Gurgaon , RTI ACT is least effective. Application Fee is Rs 50 while it is Rs Ten else where in India. SPIOs never responds within a month and at times they don’t come when SIC Rep is there. We have even 2011 cases still pending for information that shows how serious is the Authority we mean MCG in particular . The information when asked in English is provided in Hindi . The reply date is wrongly provided which is much earlier than the date of actual dispatch of Speed Post

Reducing generation of black money Registration charges are payable on property transactions based on the sale price in the sale deed or circle rates, whichever is higher (Induces under declaration). Insistence on the higher value is a big inducement to the parties to declare the transaction at about the circle rates. The balance of the transaction swells the black money kitty in the country. Suggest regn be based only on circle rates.

Sir, My suggestion is to introduce deductions in the income tax to the salaried employees for Car related expenses such as Car insurance premium, CAR EMI and some fuel expense in the same way as it is done for the Business class, this will give some respite to the Salaried person and also boost up the Economy

Respected Sir Whichever Cmd you bring in Indian airlines ,Mtnl/bsnl or units like this their middle and lower level working will not change.Board menbers and Respective area heads misuses their financial powers.View has to be taken from outside wrt output and service to nation..Dismantling them properly will create lakhs of job elsewhere.We need to downsize government and psu staff so that expenditure on salaryand others can be reduced and employed elsewhere for benefit of mother INDIA.

Respected PM Sir, KIndly expedite the process of dismantling big elephants like Indian airlines,Mtnl,Bsnl and others like this.Reason they are consuming lot of hard earned good amount of money of poor people without any output.Management in the name of expansion , digitalization,modernization go on buying spree without taking care of maintenance or customer satisfaction.Their land bank be allocated for national welfare and employees be given vrs or absorbed else.

Respected Modiji Kindly do the all india mapping of major agricultural production areas with that of big companies working in that area..Each company be asked to make good godowns having good storage facility.This be part of their social respponsibility and adequate benefits be provided to them.Government provide them support and act as bridge to them and villagers ie; producers and ultimate consumers.

Making some money of the fruits and vegetables can be useful. Waste fruits and vegetables can be used as fodders and manure.

Consumption of silk can be increased by adding 10% silk in the borders (in place of costly Zari). Since Silk has different dyeing characteristics as compared to cotton, it can be dyed with very bright acid dyes thereby creating a fashion article which will fetch higher prices to the manufactures of Cotton & Silk blended sarees and at the same time increase consumption of silk and create aesthetic appeal.
