the Centre does not have a robust ethanol-blending programme. While in Brazil, ethanol is used for either 25 per cent doping with petrol or as 100 per cent hydrous spirit to power flex-fuel vehicles, we aren’t properly implementing even 5 per cent here. Worse, oil marketing companies are paying an ex-distillery price of Rs 38 a litre for ethanol, which is way below what refineries were until recently getting on petrol. A unique case of biofuel subsidising fossil fuel! -

Sir, Usually the Government money for any project or work is allotted to some other Govt deptt. and that other deptt in tern allot the same to some other. ultimately the work is sub-let to some Private parties and all the costs were charged to the project. such type of practice can be seen in civil work related, tourism related projects. This is done just to save skins and hide from C&AG. if this can be stopped, lot of money & time can be saved for the Nation. Jai Hind.

Provision may also be made in the Motor Vehicle Act that in case of road accident the injured have right for free medical treatment aid in govt and private hospitals nearby. At least the Hospitals, to whom land is allotted by govt, hospitals who are taking benefit of tax exemption/rebate can be bounded by this provision. In case they refuse to treat patient free of cost, exemption & rebate of taxes & allotment of land can be revoked. Doctor & person taking injured to hospital may be protracted.

I would ask the govt. to have some attention on reservation policy.
Currently a child from SC category gets free study which is applicable. Then after school he gets reservation in entrance tests in form of fee and marks. A SC student gets admission in better college despite of less marks than a General category student. Due to which a no. of students get depressed. Then after study they again get reservation in jobs and promotions either they are capable or not which is ridiculous.
