we all have at least little place where we can plant small herbs or vegetables in flower pot.If we all plant vegetables it will get us rid of harmful pesticide, chemicals and we can get pure vegetables.More ever it will also help in cleaning atmosphere. It is small step but if we all do this at home it will prove big measure for clean air and pure food

Pollution levels in urban areas have already reached dangerous levels in urban areas. Short and long time strategies to overcome the issue are required immediately for health and well being of present and future generations. It is already very late and we cannot afford to lose time any further Of many measures massive tree plantation drive can be started this monsoon itself. Let forests be developed with active participation of villagers and unemployed rural folks and generate employment

Trees which give more of wood or food should be encouraged. This way we can get more business, more profit and tackle food problem. Trees like Amla, jackfruit, mangoes, jamun, litchi, guavava, pomegrenate can become the pride of land along railway tracks and highways. These trees not only give fuits but also support wildlife.

All National Highways should have trees which are profit-making, i.e. which generate business too, should be planted. These trees should be area specific, i.e. in Varanasi one can have Langra Mano trees, in Lucknow -Kanpur Dussehri Mango, in Odisha and Kerala one can have cashew nut trees.

Pre mansoon maintenance of various system has to be done. of Seveage system to prevent leakage in to rain water flow. water supply system to prevent it from contamination. Current practice of using sevage system for carrying extra rain water just increases the magnitude of contamination. If rainwater is given separate route then problem of contamination may not be their. Municipalities may think over it. isolating sevage from rain water will solve many problems and save money.
