As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

Bio - fertilizers are better as they increase productivity of soil and good for worms making soil fertile. Unlike fertilisers which require more quantity to be used after every usage, bio - fertilisers require less quantity after each application.

Every city should have a gaushala and animal shelter no stat animals any where . these can be run and managed buy ngis or govt. I'm sure citizens na would donate and help managing like in Chandigarh. All animal waste can be used to make biogas and remaining waste yo go to farm lands as manure. Biowaste recygiling in every village will give then clean fuel for cooking and better fields, thus better health.

There should be wet waste recycling centres in every city to convert waste food in black hold.which should be provided to farmers of nearby areas free of cost, thus promoting recycling, better fertilizer and corner cities. Recycling of everything should be promoted.every company produce should have a recycling methodology of its produce else don't manufacture it.

India has big sea shore and desert where solar energy and wind energy ...if the site has wind potentiality can be generated .Oil import bill be reduced and dependence on import be reduced by fast exploration of natural gas and oil exploration in Rajasthan and other parts of Country.Electricity is requirement of industrial growth in villages. Many villages facing problem of drinking water and lacking water for irrigation , so flood prone rivers be connected with dry rivers , canals and ponds .

Monsoon is around the corner let mark this year as TREE PLANTATION YEAR (वृक्षारोपण वर्ष). I would urge PM Narendra Modi to spread this initiative to the whole country from rural to urban, from rich to poor, everyone.

I have developed a technology regarding all type of biodegradable waste utilization by converting it into humus. i'm sure that this can solve the the following problem. 1. it will help for clean bharat 2. help in conservation of water. 3. economy of farmers can be improved. I'm unable to get any platform for my innovative work.i contacted to jawarharlal nehru krishi vishwa vidyalaya jabalpur but of no use. Please suggest a palteform through which i can introduce my technology. thank you.

Irrigation, fertilizers and agricultural equipments are three components which increase the cost of agriculture. linking of rivers was a good idea. Water harvesting for irrigation also needs smart innovations. Animals excreta and dung is also not fully utilized. This also needs large scale inputs to produce appropriate manure. Of course production cost milk is also very high in India. again combine efforts of researchers and system is the elementary formula.
