Road construction should have in built feature of at least 30% width of road as green Road builders may be mandated to engage local populace for plantation and maintenance of trees. It will create substantial job. Urban areas also must be mandated to have 25-30 green cover and town planners should plan that way. Urban roads may be designed to have rain water harvesting access to ground in roadside green belts, help ground water table and life of roads, rain related traffic bottlenecks

Sir, being an agricultural engineer I propose a model (attached herewith) through optimal utilization of our available key resources to bring in very rapid pace of agricultural development. This will ensure exponential growth not only in agriculture but also in social/economic/environmental/cultural/philosophical and psychological transformation. Please find an attachment file and share views to make the same functional at different stages.

Good Day, Lot of effort being put to green the nation at urban, rural and forest level. While the efforts from forest department is commendable, they should plant more fruit bearing trees for every climate and geography, mainly every civilian area. This will supplement various nutritional programs intended for street children as they naturally have access for fruits freely. This further helps the bird population in the area which contributes to environment positively.

Greetings! I wish for the great initiative of mygov.in. I hear a lot about "Make in India". Yes, make in India is a good theme. But care must be taken for NOT disturbing the nature and agriculture. Kindly look at the below about China (English subtitle is there). This is about "Under the Dome – Investigating China’s Smog". Pls watch it and plan accordingly.

Currently Natural Resources are being spoiled by pollution. Mainly plastic carry bags must be stopped from usage to save our Country. Plastic bags are not destroy-able and they cover water and land surface. They prevent rain water and reaching underground. All cattle by mistake eat plastic carry bags put in garbage and they die in stomach pain. All river, lake is covered with plastic bags.
Putting plastic bags in dustbin alone wont save earth.
Stopping usage of plastic bag will only save earth.

Prevention is better than cure. We all know this but still we wait for the wound ti occur. Though we know the approach to prevent the wound from happening. We act and make policies not for the betterment of the good but for the improvement of the bad. Lets act before it happen. Lets forecast and predict. Lets not just wait but mobilize and assume. We have brains. Now we have resources with NAMO. Lets advent on the inventions that our DST and CSIR have. Lets commercialize.

Western Ghats receive very heavy rainfall & Peninsular India receive very little, if we are able to store and transfer some part of that excess water from west coast to places like Vidarbh & other low rainfall area, it can transform the entire landscape there. We have only a couple of dams to tap this water we need a series of such dams from Mumbai to Thiruvanatapuram to make a real difference.
