As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

soil health card scheme for efficient management of resources and achieve higher production output. This can be linked to postal department as follows: 1. Farmers submits soil samples(ex:3) to postal department 2. Postal department fillsonline form (aadhar no. to map with soil sample) and sends it to nearby central agriculture university for soil testing. 3. Upload results on portal linked to aadhar(soft copy) and hard copy through post. This removes state dependency to implement this scheme

Krishna palace went inside the Sea area.
