As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

We should stop using dangerous chemicals and Fertilizer and pesticides to cultivate. Encouragement is required to use organic chemicals like natural fertilizers. India is going to be young by the year 2025. We should give them hale and healthy. this is very important to grow our younger India.

Economic Tomato Farming .... Until this stage, I have just expended Rs. 2 ($ 0.03 ) on fertilizer for 100 tomato plants . for 1 acre if 20000 plants ,expenses** Rs. 400 ,Earning : Rs.10,00,000 (10 lac) All the material are wastage materials are collected and started the project .. 1. sand ,2 plastic glass - from Marriage ,3 -bottle- used aqua bottle as sprinkler 4 - tray and economic greenhouse - trashed green net. *** No need of Fertile Land My aim very low priced Fruit-vegetables

HOW DO UBER & OLA GIVE MUCH LOWER TAXI RATES THAN OTHERS & STILL PAY DOUBLE SALARY TO DRIVERS (i.e. Rs.40-50,000 AS OPPOSED TO Rs.20,000).ONE OBVIOUS REASON IS THAT THEY CHARGE VERY LESS COMMISSION-THEY ARE ONLY AGGREGATORS.ANOTHER POSSIBLE REASON IS THAT THEIR DAILY MILEAGE MUST BE DOUBLED OR TRIPLE DUE TO APP ENABLES CONNECTING PASSENGERS & TAXIS. 3. millions of sea animals dying because of polythene bags including sacred cows who eat this and die. 4. 50% of landfills and garbage forms because of plastic bags, waste material like kitchen waste and other kind of soluble items don't get mixed with soils because they are being packed in poly bags 5. Most of the plastic bags directly go to sea and pollute it.already a part of sea as large as a continent, became a plastic poisonous patch area near pacific sea.

Some facts about dangers of plastic bags: 1. 500 billion and a trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide each year.most bag are not recycled because it costs more to recycle a bag than to produce a new one.A single plastic bag can take up to 1,000 years to degrade. 2. Chemicals added to plastics are absorbed by human bodies. Some of these compounds have been found to alter hormones or have other potential human health effects.

Polythene ban : this is also very dangerous problem arising in India, many times govt imposed such bans but nobody following these bans. People are using plastic bags openly.Please ban it completely and strictly for the sake of human existence.this is a time bomb kind of thing more dangerous than atom bomb.People are ignoring this plastic issue but this may become a risk in whole human existence one day.Please take this seriously this is a big danger for our future

dear sir , we can not control weather now for last 1-2 days all of a sudden weather got changed. just before this farmers were happy were hoping good production of wheat and chana. they put lot of efforts for their crop now from haryana to mp anxiety is their about crop. one season gone it will put lots of hardship for them specially on earnings. can't we have a system which will insure some reasonable income for them at least to cover their daily requirement till next crop seasons.

PM ji,We have to educate all that please don't cage or captive the parrots or any other birds we have to grow,enlarge their natural habitat and also educate each and every individual to protect the parrots and birds and also especially their habitat don't cut the trees especially tall dense trees announce officially the remaining forests are national asset and penalizing should be heavy and life term to the bird sellers and destroyers of birds living trees we should vigilant with highest honest

Maananeeya PM jee, Why we have to protect birds and parrots because in nowadays caging parrots and birds become rapidly increased I saw in many flats and bungalow many peoples birds as pet it must be stop it is illegal also those recovered birds should have much much care because they don't know how to survive in new environment or in circumstance that also very important and we have to educate people from the primary school level it is illegal and big sin for environment and that innocent birds
