As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

make water harvesting a compulsory need for all urban areas. people need to start saving water and use water judiciously. unless water management is made compulsory in urban areas, there will be wastage and unnecessary drawing of good water from the rivers and water bodies around urban areas

रेल बजट बहुत ही साधारण किन्तु सराहनीय है | अब जरुरत है कि पिछली सरकारो से सबक लेते हुए इस बजट को एक वर्ष के अंदर सभी कामो को पूरा करने का निरंतर प्रयास करना होगा साथ ही जब हम अगले वर्ष फिर बजट पेस करे तो हम सबसे पहले ये विपछ से पूँछे कि कोई ऐसा काम बताओ जो हमने पिछले बजट में कहा हो और पूरा ना हुआ हो | यही हमारी सफलता होगी | ***** लक्छ्य तक पहुचे बिना पथ में पथिक विश्राम केसा ******

1) More Jowar Bajra millets becoz drought resistant, 2) Village water banks/lakes in each village, 3) Green building materials via village forestry, 4) Zero use of pesticides. 5) Diversified farming. Grains and veggies together, 6) Goat milk for cheaper nutrition. 7) Free English education for easy information exchange across India.

Respected Sir, Your constituency Varanasi is known for its world's ancient ghats and now too for GANGA AARTI. While paying tribute to ganga the front should be very clear so one can see the Ganga. What is happening - lots of boats accumulated infront of ghats and its seen like we are doing aarti for them not Ganga. Request you to please ask the organizers to manage the things in such a way that looks nice as well as organized. While doing aarti, Ganga should be seen clearly.

I know , Your Goverment is doing good ;. But , big BUT.. public perception is very important for the Govt & BJP party. The way it is happening on Indian media , there is daily bashing of your Govt & party. We need to present the Govt & party views in more Energetic , vibrant , smiling , confident ways , so that general public is confident of Govt & party. Some of your spokeperson who come on Media are so lacklustre , that they present very sorry picture. You need more like Samit Patra in BJP.

सर जी अब तो कुछ कर के दिखाये जिससे हम हिन्दुस्थानीय को आप पे गर्व होये . राजस्थान में नदियों को जोड़ दे ताकी जो लोग आपको किसानो का दुश्मन बोल रहे है उनका मुह बंद हो जाये .......! बड़ी उमीद है आप से राजस्थानियों को . और हम जेसे किसानो को.

Do increase the speed of trains which connect district towns of India. The average speed of these train is 60 km. It can easily be brought to 120 km with same tracks. you don't even have to acquire any land for this. With greater speed and connectivity, rural India will improve and pressure on metro will go down. Industry will find better resources to grow. Please please don't be a prime minister of just city dwellers. They are the most corrupt people. I wish you be the leader of the nation.

Your new Railway budget talks about increasing train speed between metros. These metro centric development was a big problem of Congress and your government is into the same trap. If you really want India to sign, change your focus from metros to rural India. The mero centric development has created countless problem for the government. Just to name the few: 1. UN-breathable pollution in all metros.2. Huge slums.3. Crime 4. Un-even distribution of national wealth.5. River and water pollution.
