As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

We all aware that the natural resources are limited. We have consumed almost 70% of Potable Water, petroleum and other minerals in the last 200 years. Another 50 years India and rest of the world will have serious crisis. As a first step Govt of India can start with rain water harvesting and use solar energy in the vast amount of govt land and buildings available in defence and railway department. Govt depts shall be examples for the rest of the public by introducing these measures.

Hon'ble PM You must be aware that bauxite mining for aluminium production (by Vedanta) is the main cause for Naxal problems in tribal areas India. Depletion of bauxite from the hilltops robs the ability of the hills to store rainwater, resulting in loss of forests, eventual loss of water for drinking and farming and loss of wildlife in those areas FOREVER, thus robbing the tribal's off their source of livelihood. Please import aluminium, but don't destroy the homeland of your tribal population.

We suppose that reservation system had started to upgrade the underprivileged community and provide the best opportunity to him in term of education and life style to have their place in mainstream of India. It was good for some span of time but political party has make it tool and divided to India in Cast System now every party is projecting and targeting some cast for their vote bank which is not a good for the health of India. Due to this odd practice most of the talent is suppressing, and who is not fit but still he got the opportunity due cast reservation system and disturbing the Indian Economic badly. Now this is the time to stop the cast based reservation system as rich and poor people exist in every cast. We agree that reservation quote system could not be removed but it must be refined and it should be based on the economic status of the people and not on the basis of cast system. My humble request on behalf of the Citizen of India to stop this bad practice and remove it from our Indian Social and project new policy on the basis of income based.

To see his activities I observed that Modi ji is taking initiative to clean India drive but it could not be suffice without the proper infrastructure as we hardly getting any dustbin on road/market/footpath. I think we can achieve the Modi ji ambitious clean India drive as below: 1.) There should be proper infrastructure from collecting to recycling. 2.) Aware the people for clean India in initial phase. 3.) Penalize whom will not comply the same in latter stage.
