Waste mngmnt shud begin frm home, where d in house waste should b segregated. Waste paper, vegetable peels &other biodegradable wastes shud b separated frm non-biodegradable wastes such as plastic wrappers, packets, sanitary napkins, razor blades & d like. Once dis partially segregated waste is collected by d local authorities, it should further b segregated 2 recover glass pieces, metal objects/scrapes(work done by rag pickers but if done systematically, will b a good waste management practice)

These days sweeper takes salary from the municipality and also gets per month fixed amount from a house to collect garbage. There should be a system that municipality can give a contract for 50 houses to a single sweeper to collect the garbage and charge for the same can be a minimum fix amount . It may help to reduce the salary burden of municipality and in waste management. Municipality can issue a helpline no with ID of sweeper for any assistance.

focus on student so we can put waste management habit in a root of our new generation.""""idea""" our government can set up a plant of recycle of garbage on a certain distance so that general public avail the benefit of this plant. Now question why people attract towards this then the answer is , we provide them some money not a regular basis but on monthly basis.this require tremendous engineering so we have to plan for also.
thank you

For effective implementation model project should be start with capable Municipal corporation where new idea can me implemented. For example gov can select Surat Municipal corporation where one particular zone may be selected. training to each society , subsidy for keeping three types of dustbin, collection as per colour of dustbin, creation of compost and use of compost as dry fertilizer . Entire process can be monitored and streamlined and then more wards/zone can be added.

to my mind for a good waste management system we need to first segregate waste in to two parts i.e 1. dry waste includes plastic and e wastes 2. wastes of perishable natures . these should be collected separately at every household and same needs to collected by local authorities for further processings. we should encourage each and every household to segregate their wastes into plastics and of perishable nature. this will help to take care of our environment. thanks

There is no system of collection of daily household wastage & public sewerage in rural areas in West Bengal. If there is waste collection system like corporation or Municipality the villages would became clean. At present people dump their household wastage here & there and that makes the villages dirty. Above all most of the villagers don't have their own land to dump the wastage as well as to drain the daily used water & they face big problem.Huge Wastage of 70% Indian can generate huge energy

1.Collection of waste by Municipal corporations from each and every house hold into 3 categories a.Degradable waste b.Non Degradable waste c.E-Waste.
2.All companies manufacturing E-Products should be asked to make their own cells for collecting E-Wastes from the people and have toll free no. for their clients. As these companies do in other countries.
3.Waste to energy should be encouraged.
