As we have lack of the agriculture storage in the country railways can create the storage places at their properties not being used for either technical or the operational purposes and Railway can facilitate the moving market for the dairy and agro products in coordination with concerning government departments. This can create huge revenue for railway as well as minimize the food waste.

To increase revenue for non-tariff sources railway need to re innovate themselves by providing end to end services to its customers. There is lot of scope in involving house hold shifting services by engaging various private companies for giving end to end support.
By engaging IT so that people can book freight from home and check the status of goods if any delay due to bad weather and giving update through SMS and mails in advance to customers.

Sir, Create Zone wise Digital Advertising sign boards at the platforms or stations which can be operated remotely for each Zone. This creates more avenues for advertisers and generates more revenue. Thus way the clean & green can be improved by avoiding posters.
2.Implement Solar Power on trains (easy to implement as each coach has batteries) and at railway stations (Cost saving).
3.keep the tenure to run canteens etc for 6 months to 1 year and track the performance thru Complaints.
