Religious items thrown into river Ganga does not pollute it if all puja items are natural and biodegradable. The pollution only comes from industries and by throwing plastics. Steps:1) Need to treat industrial waste before dumping into Ganga.2) Educating people living near Ganga about the polluting sources, waste management, recyclable, biodegradable waste, biogas plant establishment etc. so that they can maintain Ganga well cleaned and pious, pure always. Namah shivay.

For cleaning the our Ganga river government should take some serious steps like ban on the chemical factory which extract their dirt water in the river, ban on all the religious garbage thrown in the river just like in sabarmati river

I was selected as NLM under the Ministry of Rural Development,GOItill 2014.However for strange reason I was dropped under the pretext that I am a nonofficial joint secretary.Since we have a change in government and there seems to be some reasonableness and logic in governance I want my case to be opened up for consideration. I am an agricultural engineer from IIT and an agricultural management graduate from IIM Ahmedabad.I have 40+ years ofexperience in agricultural and rural development.

Hume Ganga ki safaai ke liye kade nirdesh laagoo karne chahiye...kyunki ground level par koi implement nahi hota jiska Jo mann kare woh wastage ko ganga mein pravah kar deta hai..Government ko chahiye ki Jo phool ganga mein ye aas paas hote hain unka prayog dhoopbatti ke nirmaan mein kiya Jana chahiye...ye Ganga ki safaai mein bhi sahyog pradaan karega aur doosri taraf ye ek vastoo ke nirmaan mein bhi kaargar saabit hoga...Dhanyawaad...
