The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions from stakeholders and the general public on the draft accessibility standards for the Information & Communication Technology Sector. These draft standards, which identify non-negotiable rules, have been prepared to strengthen the creation of barrier-free environments in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and relevant rules.

All interested individuals are requested to carefully examine the proposed standards and submit their feedback, comments, and suggestions on the MyGov platform, ensuring that personal details are entered accurately during registration.

Dear PMO, First of all Namaskar 🙏 I want to inform you that this time is very crucial to us(India) because our neighbouring countries are misguided by China and most of them oppose us. We need to play reverse psychological games with them. If China wants to deal with us then we should do it with our honourable conditions even if it is America or any other country. This is not the time to say no.

Sir, please include a mandatory subject in Social ethics. Also, please impose a condition that any Govt. certificates/licences are given to a person who has passed in that. This will be a question against any terrorism preaches. The dire incidents like stampede will be well managed, if the citizen behaves selfless to a substantial extend. (This is a repeat post, as I feel, it is important)

विषय: सूचना और संचार प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्र में दिव्यांगजनों के लिए सुलभता सुनिश्चित करने हेतु सुझाव सुझाव: 1. वेबसाइट्स और ऐप्स का डिज़ाइन: सभी सरकारी एवं निजी वेबसाइट्स और मोबाइल ऐप्स को WCAG 2.1 (Level AA) गाइडलाइंस के अनुसार डिज़ाइन किया जाए, ताकि दृष्टिबाधित, श्रवण बाधित और अन्य दिव्यांगजन भी इनका उपयोग सरलता से कर सकें। 2. डिजिटल केवाईसी एवं बैंकिंग सेवाएं: बैंकों की KYC प्रक्रिया, ATM मशीनें, और डिजिटल फॉर्म्स को सुलभ बनाया जाए। सभी बैंकों में स्क्रीन रीडर सपोर्ट, वॉइस असिस्टेंट जैसी सुविधाएं होनी चाहिए।
