Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

There are many syllabus of education in the world.. even in India, there are different syllabus followed. We should adopt good portions of each syllabus and make a single and strong syllabus for entire India. The syllabus should include topics to make a good personality, good citizen and national importance. The education upto 12th class should give a chance to learn every topics in a systematic approach so that in a 12 years of teaching their basics must to clear and capable to select topics of their interest in future.. Important thing is the quality of teachers.. There must be training to the teachers..

Hello, There will be separate committee for rural education school to evaluate present condition.By advice of expert panel, new policy framed which uplift rural pupil. Otherwise uniform syllabus all over India is not fruitful,,,,, Pupil from various environment exposure can not follow which suits only urban areas .Sometimes due to syllabus pupil discontinued,,,, So be cautious in uniform syllabus all over India,,,,, Any way good luck to New Education Policy,,,, Thanking You,

Education as mentioned in NEP should follow the same pattern and curriculum in all states of India.A child should be able to pursue education without any hindrance due to the borders of the state. More scope for technical development and true leadership training must be included. Curriculum should be easy to understand. Teachers should help the students by encouraging and motivate them by involving themselves. Some students may need extra attention. Teachers should treat them with affection and care.
