Positive reinforcement to reward skills is needed. Skilled should feel privileged. India has given freedom to fake news spreaders, road side shops on footpath, third gender ppl attacking ppl on streets in cities with impunity. There is no sign of presence of a civilization based on skill or intelligence. Police are busy extorting and murdering industrialists, intelligent ppl. Government and courts are busy issuing statements instead of enforcing laws. Judges on holiday. Parliament is fish stall.

One of the main problem faced by many girls are that they are not exposed to opportunities due to many social barriers. Many girls are not able to achieve their goals, they are forced to cope up with what they have. So women empowerment should also play an important role in skill development their must be equal opportunity for both men and women in skill development.

One of the main problem with India is the lack of employment. Many lose lives only because they couldn't find way to earn their livelihood. Yet some take wrong and illegal ways to earn money. Many skill and talents of the people are not recognized in the society because of the lack of opportunity to prove themselves. So instead of seeking other countries we can start our own manufacturing companies and limit the import of the products and hire the people Indian and can provide them with salaries

There is limited mobility between skill and higher education programs and vocational education. Government should work on it.

"Challenge of Skill India Mission:
1. Multiplicity in assessment and certification systems that leads to inconsistent outcomes and causes confusion among employers.
2. Paucity of trainers, inability to attract practitioners from industry as faculty.
3. Mismatch between demand and supply at the sectoral and spatial levels.
4. Narrow and often obsolete skill curricula.
5. Declining labour force participation rate of women."

Skill development programs of the Central Government are spread across more than 20 Ministries/Departments without any robust coordination and monitoring mechanism to ensure convergence. It should be handled to one hand only.

Focus should be made on changing the public perception that views skilling as the last option meant who have not been able to progress/opted out of the formal academic system.
