The youth of India are the torchbearers of tomorrow, fueling the nation’s growth with their creativity, skills, and innovative mindset. The participation of youth, in addition to the demographic division we enjoy, will be crucial as we gear up to emerge from the shadow of global pandemic repercussions to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi gave a new mantra to the youth last year - ‘Skill, Reskill and Upskill’ to remain relevant in the rapidly changing business environment and market conditions.

The passion of youth is celebrated around the world on July 15 in the form of World Youth Skills Day to stress the strategic importance of equipping youth with employment, quality work, and entrepreneurship skills.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites creative ideas and suggestions from the youth to propel India as the ‘Skill Capital’ of the world.

The last date to submit your entries is 17th September 2021.

Idea Description: Integrated PHD Program to be launched for Working Professionals. There is a huge untapped capacity which can be capitalized to increase India’s contribution in the field of Research. The Mandatory Master’s Qualification to be substituted with no.of experience and so on to expand the coverage of PHD/DBA program and increase our Capability as a country.

Idea name: Top 100 Universities to be made Multi-disciplinary Universities. Idea Description: IIT & IIM to diversify in medical education especially Allied Healthcare education to increase the skilled professional and expand the capacity of country to tackle Human Resource Shortage in such critical area.

Idea name: Setting up of 100 integrated Sports Complex for Indoor games in next 4 years. Idea Description: Establish indoor Sport Complex across India to promote skill development via sports The model to be fully funded by Private Players over a long term period of 10-25 years

Idea name: Setting up of 25-50 IIITs in next 4 years. Idea Description: Scaling up IIIT model across India with help of Private Players. Relaxed the existing criterion to trigger the next phase of growth.

Idea name: Integrated e-learning Super APP Idea Description: Integrate following into One single user-friendly APP - Swayam.gov.in - NPTEL.ac.in - Bhartskills.gov.in - Abhyudha scheme of UP govt - ISTD.co.in - And gradually add Competitive exams e-courses and test series

My opinion is that, education is the best way to improve our knowledge. If education is given to students both as theory as well as practical it would improve the skills of the students. Theory knowledge alone cannot help for the upliftment of skills. Practical knowledge is must for the development of Skill India.

education and Proper Guidance is very important for uplifting the skills for educated . For those are not educated need training according basic skill they can develop they skill under good training.so from every family atleast one member is well trained and educated.

kindly give proper training & placement to the unskilled craftsmen who are working in the remote areas of the country by organizing skill fair at the Village Panchayat level, Block level & district level with the help of local administration, schools & public representatives. There are a lot of talented unemployed youth which is unutilised till now.
