The youth of India are the torchbearers of tomorrow, fueling the nation’s growth with their creativity, skills, and innovative mindset. The participation of youth, in addition to the demographic division we enjoy, will be crucial as we gear up to emerge from the shadow of global pandemic repercussions to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi gave a new mantra to the youth last year - ‘Skill, Reskill and Upskill’ to remain relevant in the rapidly changing business environment and market conditions.

The passion of youth is celebrated around the world on July 15 in the form of World Youth Skills Day to stress the strategic importance of equipping youth with employment, quality work, and entrepreneurship skills.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites creative ideas and suggestions from the youth to propel India as the ‘Skill Capital’ of the world.

The last date to submit your entries is 17th September 2021.

Our demographic advantage depends on whether we are equipped with the right skills for the future. It should be noted that if skills that are relevant for the future are not cultivated, we will be at a disadvantage because it will drastically increase joblessness which could, in turn, be a law and order issue. So, Industry participation in designing the upskilling process is required. Also, phased relaxation of restrictions to boost the ease of doing business will help investments and jobs.

Dear PM Narendra Modiji, I would like to congratulate you on this auspicious celebration of independence day. I am delighted to let you know that we have developments in many areas of life. I am an independent woman working for my livelihood. MBA from Wales University along with work in healthcare, hospitality, business and call centre experience. Really in this new age we need people from different backgrounds. My mother itself was police inspector. I am voting for you in coming elections

Our nation has a capacity and potential to be number one in whole world in skill development. Various initiatives taken by the Govt regarding the same need to be implemented with dedication and determination at grass root level. Nevertheless we have succeeded in our mission in leading our country to most developed in whole world. Awareness camps, preparatory camps, seminars at panchayat level,on Recycling,Reuse,Reduce,Make use,new innovations, project work need to given priority.

MANDATORY MILITARY TRAINING -- There should be an optional subject in each degree course where history and culture of India is taught -- During this course/subject students should be introduced to physical and mental fitness -- Solving the real life day to day problems and building entrepreneur skills -- Building one India as a community - no division based on caste, class, etc -- Having Defense/Military outlook would help it better, rather naming training as some religious organisation.

Skill training is to be started from class 8th/12 year age, so that when they reach 18 years age, they have enough knowledge. Each child should have an opportunity to select a subject according to his abilities. Teachers should be skilled workers from that particular field. So that they can proudly contribute in nation building. Additional certification and grade marks may be given to children which can be used in future employment. This will make more volunteers for skill training
