Please make betting a legal activity and tax it heavily. Right now, betting is happening underground, totally unregulated. Government does not get any revenue out of this. Why shouldn't betting be considered as a sin-activity but not as illegal activity - just like tobacco and alcohol? Government can make significant revenues and use the same towards betterment of health and education.

GST rules exempt T.O. upto Rs. 20,00,000 but to be on e-commerce platforms GST Registration is now compulsory due to this small artisans, in particular Women entrepreneurs lose this opportunity altogether or are inconvenienced despite inapplicablity of this tax to them. Request to keep the window open, as was the case earlier, for the said categories, please. Thanks with regards.

Dear Sir/Madam, In the last budget, you have provided tax rebate till 5L income. But there is no benefit for people in the high tax bracket like 20 and 30%. Instead of giving any tax exception it would be better to provide some privileges to them. Taxpayers should be identified, it will encourage people to pay more tax. As per last year data, only 6-7cr people are paying tax in India. The taxpayer should get privileges like the army jawans, not same something similar.
