Here are suggestions for the budget:
1) Roll back Long Term Capital Gains Tax on shares - It is necessary for the healthy development of capital markets. Already, STT is charged on shares.
2) Reduce corporate tax for all companies to 25% - It will give a much needed boost to the economy
3) Ensure that 5G auctions take place in FY20-21 – This will bring much needed revenue for the government
4) Don’t introduce Inheritance Tax
5) Remove tax on dividends above 10 lacs as DDT is charged.

To support Hon'ble PM Modi ji initiatives of providing houses to all under PMAY, Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan, Fibre Cement industry can play a vital role. Fibre Cement Products Manufacturers Association (FCPMA) request to reduce the GST on fibre cement products specially sheets, pipes, boards etc to make these affordable to rural masses.

The CAGS scheme of 1988 warrants attention and revision as the limits which are set in 1988 (Rs 50 lakhs) have deeply eroded. Examples Price of Gold10 Fold/land Value over 50 Fold /Flats over 20 Fold/Foreign exchange 10 Fold. In Order to make the scheme relevant and attractive (as in 1988 ) Please consider changes for making the scheme relevant again.Present Limit of Rs 50 lakhs @5 year lock in period at 5.75 % ,interest is effectively Rs 5 lakhs in value in 1988.Request meaning full change

Population Control: India's population is exploding and will soon overtake China. This will have catastrophic effect on our natural resources.
My suggestion is to formulate a National Population Control Policy and implement through Primary Health Centers by education, advertising, distribution of free contraceptives, counseling of young couples on first delivery, legalising abortion after second child, announcing incentive schemes to small families on health care and education of their children.

1. Some professions such as Doctors, Lawyers , Teachers etc . earn money through a second source and generally dont declare in the Income tax statement, generating black money in loose cash . There should be a strategy to capture the money that such professions gain through secondary sources.
2. Plastic waste such as bottles , wrappers etc are getting generated everyday in Tons. It also impacts a lot in sustaining Swaach Bharat Mission . To reduce the impact , kiosks have to be implemented.

Once tax slabs are finalized these should be applicable to each and every individual. All exemptions of every kind should be ruthlessly removed. This, besides reducing tax evasion, will enable the government to reduce overall tax rates uniformly for everyone. It will also bring greater harmony among the society.
