In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

Madam finance minister, for all Direct and Indirect taxes matters, the Government should close the way for tax evasions. My suggestion is to 1. Stop all cash dinominations more than Rs.200 initially ( later more than Rs.50) 2. Dont allow public to make evasions / mistakes and then giving notices after 4/5 years to punish. Instead make law in such a way to curb the litigations.

मेडम इस बजट में उन किसानों पर भी टैक्स लगाया जाए जो सेकड़ो एकड़ जमीन के मालिक हैं तथा उन अधिकारियों पर कड़ी कार्यवाही की जाए जो बड़े किसानों और नेताओं को सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ तो दिलाते हैं लेकिन छोटे किसान और बिना पहुंच वाले किसानों को कोई लाभ नही दिलाते।। मेडम इस बजट में खुदरा व्यापार को उद्योग की श्रेणी में लाया जाए ताकि उन्हें आसानी से कम ब्याज पर ज्यादा लोन मिल सके क्योंकि खुदरा बाजार रोजगार देने में सबसे आगे है। धन्यवाद

how can Government Support Weak sector industry, who face issues for Import, and who's face issues in export due to China and others country, government give special support /focos on Garments , toys, shoes, writing instruments, small products of DAILY USES , handi craft, KHADI, ITS SUPPORT SMALL INDUSTRY

Currently treatment of critical illness like Cancer get rebate of 40,000/- only. It should be increased to as per actual cost keeping in view the high cost of treatment. kindly consider

Please make decisions to make Air India the best airlines in the world. Whenever I go on holidays, I always prefer Air India to any other airline. Please give incentives to Indians to use only our national airlines. If All Indians decide to use only Air India, it will become the best and most profitable airlines in the world. Respected Madam, Please introduce GST on sale of Lottery tickets and remove 40% Tax on Lottary Wins. Let the Lottary income be merged with the total income of the assessee and taxed as per existing rates. C.V.Rajan

Please note that contributions to PF by employer does not get taxed at the stage of initiation, growth and maturity. This needs to be stopped in as much as Govt is losing out on revenue and PF-holders enjoy unfair over non-PF holders. Please make sure PF-holders/employees pay tax when companies are paying the PF contribution.

Budget is an important policy document which is considered to be the foundation of the efficient and effective administration of our country. In this context, Transparency International India puts forth an important suggestion in relation to National Savings Certificate Scheme and Senior Citizens which has been uploaded.

Tax on pension and fixed deposits from pension to be waived. Govt. can raise funds from exports where we have a comparative advantage. Income yax to be streamlined. The experience of countries like Dubai can be analysed. Selfemployment for youth and pensioners to be encouraged with grants for initial few years.
