SOLVING THE NPA "PROBLEM", continued.. 2. It is incorrect to measure all businesses and industries all across India with the same NPA unit of 3 months which has no sound statistical basis. "One-size-fits-all" is not true. For economic independence, India needs to redefine NPAs based on segment, sector, region, industry and force majeure situations like drought etc. We need dynamic NPA definition systems under the Ministry of Statistics which will provide a sound basis for RBI to define NPAS

While TDS on sale of immovable property is 1% of the consideration, the TDS for Non Resident is 20%. There are many anomalies in getting the lower deduction certificate from the Income Tax Department. The procedure to obtain lower TDS should be made transparent and simple, particularly in the context of PAN allotted lies at New Delhi for those who fail to mention their Indian address and is difficult to get the files transferred.

Dear PM Modi, I would like to suggest that: Since we are working day and night fighting pollution and diseases coming with it, Government should have a policy to a). increase the use of bicycles for city travel, where bicycle users would get special lane and they can travel faster. b). Make electric bicycles cheaper and manufactures of these should get raw materials at cheap rates to make the products available for masses at cheaper rates.

In last budget, Mr.Jaitly compared the salaried tax payer's income to business people's income based on the end tax paid. This is an APPLE to ORANGE comparison as business people can reduce their income by setting off their spendings to run the business. There is no such provision for salaried class and they spend most of their income away. Request you to make the policies keeping real issues on ground and not based on such inappropriate comparisons.

Hello.1. We need to make Direct tax calculation simple for higher compliance. 2. Kindly remove all complicated deductions under section 80 etc and let individual decide where to invest and how to save. One flat deduction to be provided. 3. Agricultural income at hands to big landlords to be taxed (beyond some ceiling of land and income to protect small and medium farmers) 4. In LTA, all expenses needs to be allowed as deduction like boarding & lodging etc and every year to be allowed.
