In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

THERE SHALL BE A CEILING ON EXEMPTION UNDER AGRICULTURE INCOME. BIG LANDLORDS AND INCOME FROM COMMERCIAL CROPS LIKE TEA & COFFEE ESTATES SHALL BE TAXABLE INTEREST ON AGRI LOANS SHALL BE REDUCED TO NOT MORE THAN 4% p.a

हर किसान का ऐक बोझ पशु कि देख रेख यानी पशु को ग्रमी व वर्षाद से बचाने के लिये पशुघर कि व्यस्था सरकार द्धुरा मुहिया करानी चाहिये

Inter-depository transfer of Sovereign Gold Bonds between NSDL and CDSL is not happening leading to difficulties to brokers to make security payout to clients. This is forcing investors to sell the securities purchased if the investor depository is different from depository where security is received by Trading Member.

As per existing Act, if land owner enters into Dev. agreement for construction, Capital gains tax is levied immediately after completion, irrespective of whether the apartments coming to the share of owner are sold or not. When the property is not sold, there cannot be any source to pay CGT. It's natural justice that CGT should be levied only in the year of sale. I request to amend the Act accordingly with retrospective effect.

Sir/Madam Greetings. Five prime policy decisions needed to double the income of farmers in 2022 for which our Hon;ble PM Shri Modi Ji is dreaming. Please make policies to give Irrigation facilities to all 141 million hectares net sown area. Provide all farm sector loans not exceeding at 4% Interest & Interest free crop loans covering all 14 crore farm holdings. Provide MSP with C2+50% Profit, Present PMFBY kindly be modified to give more benefit to farmers - Sincerely by Arupathy P.Kalyanam

1. Advance Tax Interest are very harsh (234B & 234C). It should be either 234B or 234C but not both. 2. Advance Tax limit should be increased keeping in view inflation rate. 3. Fake Refund must be stopped by asking the details like LIC Policy No, NSC Cert., FD A/C No, etc and then cross check with the required authorities 4. In case of HRA in salary, PAN of House Owner should be asked and then it should be seen in 26AS like software so that income cannot be escaped by houseowner
