My suggestions are that the government should give more attention towards the development and towards the economy of the country. It should spend money on essential matters like repairs of roads, and water facility in the rural areas.

Bring all government schools and hospitals under CSR. corporates may be advised to undertake handholding in govt schools and hospitals for providing infrastructure and it's maintenance. this can be done either statewise or by any other means.

 Education loan interest should be least in percentage.  Throughout the service after paying tax, this is a natural expectation to get some shorts of social security like “senior citizen medi claim” (in the format of Ayushman Baharat or some better social security) after retirement.  Less interest rate for first house/flat flat purchase  Removal of perquisite tax paid by the employee for the employee (general service class people).

Taxation of gifts need an overhaul. Gift tax was introduced to prevent conversion of black money to white. Genuine gifts were exempt from tax. Currently gifts to real brother, sister, mother, father, lineal descendant & ascendant are exempt. However with the advent of nuclear families, family are becoming smaller and therefore these days even cousins brother/sisters are also like real brother/sister. Gifts to first cousins should also be exempt from tax.

Invest in Defining national level technology problems for our country. Align all universities to these problems and fund to universities based on their contribution to those issues. Example 1. Define problem of hot technology of aero engine. 2.define a problem on modern pollution free transportation. This list can be endless. Track result & funds on these goals. We will have a strong technical workforce & technical capacity. All projects of universities should be aligned to this goal.

The highest tax rate on individuals has been sharply increased last year after the 37% surcharge. The effective tax rate becomes 42.744% (30%+37%+4%). This is very high tax rate. Such high tax rate will lead to migration of HNIs to foreign countries. India needs to value these people who are highly skilled. People who earn this must be highly talented CEOs of big corporate houses or must be running succesful business. We need such talent & not force the to flee.

I am providing here a suggestion to bring IT Industry on a massive scale to Northern Utter Pradesh, North Eastern Utter Pradesh, Eastern Utter Pradesh, North Bihar all the way upto North-East India. Among all the industries that we can promote, IT industry generates very large number of jobs and transforms the location into a developed & diversified economy. Northern UP to North-East needs IT industry and our government has been trying to bring it with limited success. And hence my sugestion.
