In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations.

Hon"ble Finance Minister, Here are few suggestions 1. Please include provision for training of farmers on manufacture of value added products out of their agriculture produce. 2. Please set up world class laboratories to test quality of food items and medicines. These laboratories should be under the control of Central Govt. This is very necessary because food terrorism is rampant across the country. 3. Please give incentives to Bio-medical research. 4. Farmers need a portal for online trade

1. Make income tax 2 slabs - 0-8 lac - no tax, 8+ pays 15% tax. Increase 80C limit to 2.5lac. Remove surcharge and all cess. 2. Make fiscal deficit target to 5% of gdp. 3. Introduce infrastructure bond of $50billion for 10yrs paying 5% fixed annual return. 4. Remove capital gain tax for capital gains of 2+ yrs. 5. Print notes to setup skill india institutes and fund major infrastructure projects. 6. Increase long term (10y+) FD rates by 150 bps. 7. Announce rebate in GST for non-cash txns.

#EDUCATION 1) UNIFORM EDUCATION SCHEME 2) ESTABLISHED SCHOOL TRIBUNAL AT DISTRICT LEVEL FOR EFFECTIVE MONITORING AND QUICK COMPLAINT RESOLUTION AGAINST BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS. 3) LAUNCH NATIONAL EDUCATION TV AND RADIO CHANNEL. 4) MANDATORY PROVISION FOR 1 YEAR CONTRIBUTION IN EDUCATIONAL FIELD BY ALL PUBLIC SERVANTS BEFORE RETIREMENT. 5) COMPLETELY BANNED CHILD LABOUR UNDER 12 IN ALL FORMS AND MAKE PRIMARY EDUCATION MANDATORY AND COMPULSORY.
