In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations.

Most needed thing to boost the economy is to give money in the hands of individuals so that they can spend, and the best way to do it is to reduce income tax. -Individual Tax Slab need to be reduce: - upto 5 lakhs Nil / 5-10 lakhs @10%/ 10-20 lakhs @ 20%/ more than 20 lakhs @ 30%. -80C to be increased to 2.5 lakh -Home loan interest tax savings 80EE increase to 3 lakh -NPS tax savings 80CCD increase to 1 lakh -considering high costs of medical treatment, medical insurance 80D to increase

Dear PMO, I'm not an expert but I have some suggestion. All Indian raising there voice on them silently. Below are the major points. 1)Please impose TAX on politician Income too, As we all paid from salary they need to pay. 2)Why all the politician having Telecom fund 10,000 ? Even we have MTNL,BSNL network, which is biggest in India. 3)Stop providing facility of freehold property to them as they are well settled in life. 4)Stop pension plan to them as there assets are too much for live

BUDGET SUJJESTION- 1. ONE PAGE ITR FORM UPTO YEARLY INCOME OF RS FITYTY LAKH. 2. GIVE DETAILS OF INCOMES UNDER VARIOUS HEADS. 3.IMPOSE FLAT TAX OF 10% WITHOUT ANY DEDUCTIONS , NO TAX UPTO RS 5 LAKH PER YEAR. 4. BETWEEN 50 LAKH TO ONE CR 20% ,ABOVE IT 30% . 5.NO SURCHARGES. 6 FLAT GST 12% ON ALL GOODS & SERVICES(REAL VALUE ADDITION). 7. ITR FORM SHOULD BE TREATED AS AN AFFIDAVIT ,WRONG INFORMATION SEVERELY PUNISHABLE. 8. ED SHOULD BE STRENGTHENED TO CHECK ANY EVASION

Res Finance Minister & PMO LTA 1. Please make the LTA more flexible and aligned with PM Modi's policy of promoting local tourism (15 desinations in 3 years) 2. Allow 4 to 6 Trips per block (e.g. minimum 1 trip per year) , flexible carry forward option with a ceiling. 4. Allow few valid incidental expenses apart from travel fair. 5. Sukanya Samiddhri should be out of 80C and exempted from IT Tax upto 1.5Lakhs for upto 2 daughters. 6. Tier2 NPS should also be considered for 80C exemption

Please, increase funds for Education/Research, Public Health, Food for the people who are living below the poverty line. The Government should give more support for rural India, just like the corporate tax cut. No more cuts in corporate taxes. In India, demand is the main problem now. The Government should give more support for Farmers of India.
