To boost our economy please introduce tax free bonds (like Bharat ETF etc) with 5 years lock-in period & if possible guaranteed returns, certain amount invested in such funds are to be tax free. This might increase the cash flow in our economy.

Please have a limit for HRA to be tax-free, 4-5 lacs for non-metro and 7-8 lacs for metro cities. No need to keep the rent receipt for the same, give direct deduction irrespective of salary. Or change the name of HRA to house rent and household allowance. In this section with house rent, our monthly household needs are also exempted from tax.

IT department itself should help people to file IT returns and validate. We are ok give fees for it. But atleast we will not have fear of unnecessary scrutiny in our mind.

Please make residential status rules simple for people who work abroad for employment. Upon providing details, ITR form itself should calculate the residential status of a person.
