In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations.

The EMI for 6 month based on the purchasing power or salary should be done free. and no interest should be charged for the same for 6 month period . for next 3 month 2% and again next 3 month 2% and so on for every 3 month. The middle class family doesn't have amount at a timeto purchase any thing But they can purchase in EMI very easily. That why online purchase is now a days very popular. instead of purchasing in bulk amount ,public wants to purchase in EMI. This will lead to rotation of money

All Electricity Board/companies of India have ability and responsibility to provide 24x7 uninterrupted quality power supply to end user. Distributio companies are facing financial crunch as bills are not paid by end users. To encourage consumer to pay bill timely my suggestion is as under TAX BENEFIT ON PAYMENT OF ELECTRICITY BILLS MAY BE ALLOWED AS A DEDUCTION UNDER SECTION 24 IT ACT. Means electricity bills paid may be allowed to be deducted from net taxable income. With regards

So many soldiers lay their life in line of duty in insurgency / field and modified field area. The least we can do is make all allowances for soldiers in insurgency / field and modified field area completely tax free.

Focus banking towards rural sectors by moving urban banking staff to rural and replace them by intelligent equipments completely, thereby saving on cost of elite urban staff can be drastically brought down. Abolish CIBIL agency interference in Financial Management as it hasn't served any pisitive purpose to publuc, but gas hindered growth of the bank economic by usin this tool as an excuse to reduce work load & responsibilities. Abolish Income Tax as this has been pending since 1st term.
