Some suggestions if we want to have a 5 trillion economy dream even closer rather than a fantasy: 1. Complete overhaul of direct tax including salary taxation and slab system. 2. Tax on estate duty based on FMV of assets in the hands of individuals, Trusts ( whether discretionary or specific) 3. E record like MCA for all Trusts, NGOs ( just one annual filing) 4. Make inward capital account free flow under FEMA 5. Remove all capital gains 6. Flat 15 percentage tax for all business.

Farming land: On a test basis, government should consider taking over the tilling of the land of farmers whose farm loan get writtenoff every year. If they are not able to generate money they have no business to be in the field of farming. The government can give a fixed amount for tilling (using) their land and allow some landless farmers to do the tilling. This will create employment and the landless farmer will be more than happy to work and generate income.

If these suggestions are not accomodated in budget 2020 then people will get angry and these are really imp to let people have more money so that consumer expenditure increases to reach $5tn economy. Suggestions: 1. Increase the investment limit under 80c from 1.5 lakhs to 2.25 lakhs. Its too low as salaried professionals are getting much increased salaries than earlier. 2. Increase the tax slabs limits 0-5 lakh=0% 5-10 lakh=10% 10-15=20% >15 lakh=30% 3. Bring more relief 4 startups

In case taxes of companies are being reduced then let it come with rider that the reduction will be allowed only if a certain % of employees are increased in the company. This will generate employment and also disposable income thru the newly employed people. Currently in the pretext of fall in revenue companies are reducing employees and making the existing employees work additional hours. Existing employees with the fear of losing job spend lot of hours in office and are not happy.
