Sub: Request for corrective measures to encourage long-term equity investments. Dear Ma'am, Keeping in mind the interest of our country's economy, we at Sukhanidhi Investment Advisors request you to consider increasing the current long-term capital gains term from 1 year to 5 years and reduce the tax rate from 10% to 5%, in order to encourage investors to stay invested in equities for the long-term (5 years or more). At the same time, to restrict speculative (trading) activities, you could consider including all transactions of less than 5 years under short-term capital gains and increase the tax rate from 15% to 25%. This move will be instrumental in encouraging spending and creating an influx of funds for business growth, which will, in turn, boost employment and drive economic growth in the country. We trust you will make the right decision keeping in mind the nation's best interests. Thanking you Sincerely, VINAYAK SAVANUR FOUNDER & CIO

Please increase the limit of investment under Section 80C to Rs. 300000 or at least Rs. 250000. Given the variety of options that are available for investment, this limit is too low and the middle class and lower income taxpayers need more tax benefits.

western culture should be implemented in kashmir.. new resorts, dance, music.. deviate the young children towards broad liberal culture through school education itself . Then development will happen..

Dear Finance Minister: I would like to propose the following ways of generating more revenue. (1) introduce a minimum corporate tax of 15% (2) subject all deductions for both individual and corporate taxes to a limit based on past “good” behavior. (3) introduce additional environmental tax on all businesses based on their carbon footprint (4) introduce additional health tax on all businesses based on their public health impact. Please consider my suggestions. Thank you.

contd..... Two Suggestion to get control on black money 2. Second is to give a chance to individuals to covert there Black into White. I know this has been done many times earlier even in your govt also, but there has to be change in style. Please study this idea once Every time govt comes up with a policy and ask public that if u have 100 rupees in black, pay us 35-40-50 % tax on it & your remaining will be white. My suggestion is to play with TIME VALUE OF MONEY. You ask individuals to deposit all the Black Money (anyone or everyone having in cash, any amount (Rs 1 Lac to may be 1000 CR) in a particular FD/SBA. This amount will be returned to them in may be 7-8 years with a nominal interest of 1% PER ANNUM. Here is the catch; Govt will sign a kind of bond with individual to return Money No Tax will Be deducted Returned Money will be in White No Questions Asked Convince Every one that no tax is deducted on it & there future generation will have all white money,

2 Suggestion to get control on black money 1. The highest transaction of cash is involved in LAND deals (property). This is because of the difference in the Actual Price of the Property and the guideline set by the government. The guidelines need to be worked out thoroughly as per the market rate and accordingly increased (in case of 90% colonies/land/area) and may be decreased (in case of other 10%). This might give a higher burden of Registry charges on common man but can be controlled by decreasing the % of registry charges or may be bringing it under a system like GST/VAT (Tax charged Only on the increased value of property). This change will help in all the property deals to happen online and not with cash which will automatically reduce some amount of black money from the system. The 2nd is contd in next blog
