Do not announce new railway projects.
The government must first complete the railway projects that are already under construction.
Water stagnates in tunnels set up near unmanned level crossings.
This has resulted in many casualties.
Traffic is restricted. Therefore, necessary arrangements should be made for local bodies to remove stagnant water at unmanned level crossings during monsoons.
Diesel pump should be provided.
The Railway Engineering Department should help.
Special funds should be allocated.
The purpose of eliminating unmanned level crossings is to save human lives.
It is important that the paths set up for that purpose have the same purpose.
A doctor died in Tamil Nadu last year after failing to notice stagnant water in a hurry to get to work on a tunnel set up to remove an unmanned level crossing.
The Central Government should take this as a precaution and make necessary arrangements to prevent water stagnation in the tunnels
